The shooting of ducks on the banks of Lake Chad is renowned and can be compared to the one proposed in Argentina. How wonderful to discover these huge stretches of water lying in the middle of the dunes and covered with thousands ducks! The Kouloudia lodge, three hours from N’Djamena, in addition to a splendid hunting experience, offers high quality accommodation with five individual air-conditioned bungalows built on the banks of the lake. The delicious cuisine is served in the mess hall on the shores of the lake, at the glow of a wood fire. The season runs from November to March and the hunt takes place in a 340 000 hectares area made up of the flooded meanders of Lake Chad cultivated by the villagers and where the ducks come to feed. The shooters fond of ducks will find here many African ducks but also their Teals, Pintails and Shovelers showing their brightest colors, in a unique and magical place for duck flights at daybreak and twilight. During the day, hunters can also hunt Guinea Fowls, Francolins and Turtle Doves.
